Issue 001: The Case of the Vanishing Week
β The Sunday Operator | Issue #001 | House of Lynn
Happy Sunday, Operator! ππΎ
Welcome to the very first issue. Every Sunday I'll bring you a case to crack π, a system to steal π οΈ, and a little straight talk about how work really gets done behind the scenes. Grab your coffee(Or tea if you're like meπ΅). Let's open the file. π
π The Case File: Case #001, The Case of the Vanishing Week
π¬ The scene: A founder starts Monday with a clear plan. Three priorities, a clean calendar, a fresh to-do list. By Wednesday, none of the three have been touched. By Friday, she's working late wondering where the week went. π΅π«
𧩠The clues:
π Her calendar shows 14 meetings. Only 4 were there Monday morning.
π₯ Her inbox is "her system." She works from whatever is newest.
ππΎβοΈ Her assistant is great but only hears about tasks once they're already urgent.

π οΈ Sunday Systems Drop: The Operator's Sunday Prep
Ten minutes tonight and your executive walks into Monday already ahead. ππΎβοΈπ¨
π§Ή Sweep the calendar: Catch double bookings, missing meeting links, no travel time, and back-to-backs with no break.
π Prep the big ones: For every high-stakes meeting, jot down who's in the room, why it matters, and what your exec needs to walk in with.
π― Name the three: What three things does your exec need to move this week? Put them at the top of your Monday huddle agenda.
π¬ Clear the runway: Flag anything in the inbox they need to see first thing Monday so it doesn't get buried.
β³ Check your own plate: What's stuck waiting on a decision from them? Bring it Monday, not Thursday.
π‘ The best operators don't react to the week. They set it.
π Dear Operator
Starting next week, I'm answering YOUR questions. Boss who changes priorities every hour? π Inbox that never ends? π¬ Not sure how to ask for a raise or a title change? π°

π Next Sunday: Case #002, The Assistant Who Knew Too Little. π΅πΎβοΈ
See you then,
Deasha β¨
Founder, House of Lynn
βοΈ The Verdict: Case #001
It wasn't the meetings. It wasn't the inbox. It wasn't the assistant. The culprit was NO FRONT DOOR. πͺ Every request, meeting, and "quick question" walked straight onto her plate because nothing stood between her and the incoming work.
β How an operator closes the case:
π Assess: Track one week of where requests come from and how they arrive.
βοΈ Design: Create one intake path. New meetings and requests go through you first.
π§ Install: Set calendar holds for priority work and a rule that only you book into open time.
π Operate: Run a 15-minute Monday huddle so you know the priorities before they become emergencies.
Case closed. ποΈ
